My original agent was out of the office due to becoming ill and another agent took over. Due to the amount of fraud in the world, I do not trust anything lol. They ended up calling me through a State Farm version of Teams and allowed me to view their faces and office to complete my transaction and join State Farm! "My motorcycle policy was filed incorrectly by a State Farm employee at this office. Despite receiving several letters in the mail from State Farm stating my policy was going to be cancelled, I was repeatedly assured by a rep here (keeping name confidential out of respect) that my policy was still active and there were no issues. This week I received a check from State Farm’s underwriting team stating my policy was cancelled. There needs to be better accountability and communication internally with State Farm’s agents and corporate. This error has led to me having to change insurance companies and spend close to $1000 more annually. Why is it that only I have to deal with the financial consequences of State Farm’s mistake? Do better for your customers…"
